About Us Putting Caring and Commitment into Action

Assistance League of Everett is an all-volunteer, nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to helping those in need within our community, Snohomish County, Washington.

We are one of more than 120 local chapters and guilds within a national network, National Assistance League®. Through our commitment to hands-on action, nationwide Assistance League volunteers touched the lives of over 1.4 million children, seniors, families and others in need this past year. Combined, we returned an astounding $35 million to communities across the United States.

Our chapter was founded in 1965 and currently has more than 300 members. Dedicated volunteers donated over 41,747 volunteer hours this past year.

We manage several Community Outreach Programs that are focused on lending a helping hand to those in need. Our largest program, Operation School Bell, gives children a complete new wardrobe of school clothing. Other programs provide financial aid to graduating high school seniors, scholarships to Everett Community College students, clothing and hygiene kits for assault victims, teddy bears for children and adults who are victims of assault or domestic violence, clothing to adults re-entering the workplace and more.

We rely 100% on volunteers with no paid staff. You are welcome to join us, as there are countless volunteer opportunities in which your talents, skills and interests can be served while giving back in our local community
